Endotherapy has developed out of a need to address concerns about the way the green
in our cities is set up (tall trees in densely populated areas, or else in heavily used public areas)
and about public-health problems occasioned by pesticide spraying in urban settings:
the need had been impelling to work out new, environment-friendly methods with which
to reduce risk to a minimum.
Today, integrated-protection systems are being used for the upkeep of urban green, too:
these systems favor methods alternative to chemical treatment, for example using low-toxicity
plant-protection products and application methods that secure the health and safety of citizens.
Endotherapy treatment has been working in just this direction: a plant-health product marked
by systemic characteristics is injected directly into the tree trunk, a method that has proven
workable and effective when it comes to fighting parasites which are difficult to control by
conventional foliage spraying.
Many insects and parasites can be controlled on all ornamental plants.
